The Wisconsin Maritime Museum is a great place to learn, play, and explore the rich maritime history of Wisconsin and the Great Lakes region. The Wisconsin Maritime Museum offers visitors a unique opportunity to learn about the sailors, shipbuilders, and submariners who made that history. Featured are a collection of model ships and boats, an operating steam engine, displays of historic vessels, and marine engines. Get an-up-close look at life in the “silent service” by touring the World War II submarine USS Cobia. Tours are conducted seven days a week, weather permitting, throughout the year. With over 60,000 square feet, the Wisconsin Maritime Museum has grown in to one of the largest maritime museums in the Midwest. Group tours are welcome.
