The National Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help

The National Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help is a place for all who seek help and healing through the prayers of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Whether you are Catholic or not, whether you believe or are still searching for faith, you are welcome. Champion Shrine grounds include a Chapel and apparition oratory in the lower level of the Chapel, outdoor rosary walk and stations of the cross, a welcome center with Shrine history, a gift shop, and the original historic schoolhouse building (where Adele Brise once taught). The original Schoolhouse building contains meeting/ gathering rooms and an onsite cafe. The Chapel, Apparition Oratory, outdoor stations of the cross, and outdoor rosary walk are open 365 days a year. Large gatherings, outdoor masses, processions, Eucharistic healing services, and religious events are held throughout the year to carry out the message of Our Lady of Good Help and to carry on the mission she inspired in Adele Brise. Mass is offered daily. The Gift Shop offers many books and gift-giving items. The Shrine does not conduct tours so that they can maintain a peaceful and quiet atmosphere for all visitors. They offer self-guided brochures in both English and Spanish, with a map and description of all grotto sites and places of interest on the grounds. The Welcome Center has a history video that plays continuously through the day, or a History Talk can be scheduled as part of the pilgrimage group’s itinerary for a nominal fee. Groups are welcome.
