The James C. Laird Museum of Local History currently occupies the old Christian grade school on the corner of Beaver Dam and McKinley streets in Waupun. In addition to exhibits, this building has available space to hold meetings, events, or family reunions. Their largest and most accessible building holds a number of wonderful exhibits. From the train room to the school room, you can enjoy walks through time in our generations room. The train room houses scale models that depict local businesses and buildings that are now gone, but not forgotten.
