A partially wooded 13-acre site located on the north side of the city is Horicon’s most highly developed recreation site. Discher Park essentially has three distinct sections providing a good variety of recreational opportunities. The aquatics center provides such facilities as a zero-depth pool, competitive lap pool, water slides, picnic and resting areas, concession stand, and a bathhouse. The central portion of the park contains a pavilion, concession buildings, and picnic areas with a playground and sporting courts. The eastern end of the park provides for baseball and football activities with accommodations for spectators.
