THE CITY OF SCULPTURE

Big, bronze, and bold! Clarence Shaler’s legacy and love of art are on display in natural settings around the community. Come see why his outdoor art collection has earned Waupun the designation of City of Sculpture. Speaking of sculptures, be sure to visit the world-renowned cast-bronze masterpiece End of the Trail by James Earle Fraser in Shaler Park. Even better, take a walking or driving tour around the city to view the full gallery. On event weekends, you may even catch a trolley tour of the sculptures.

GROWING FINE ARTS COMMUNITY

Art plays a big part in this community! Waupun Fine Arts and Waupun Community Players support local art and artists of yesterday, today, and tomorrow by providing entertainment venues and creative outlets all year long.

If you’re a music lover our popular Concerts in the Park draw happy crowds every Thursday in July.

If you’re an art enthusiast the Waupun Fine Arts Gallery, located in the Waupun Public Library, is a delightful, inspirational stop all year long, and often features sponsored artist receptions.

If you’re a theater fan, the Waupun Community Players stage an annual production at the Historic City Hall Auditorium that you won’t want to miss.

If you’re a history buff with an eye for art, you’ll want to visit the Carnegie Museum, operated by the Waupun Historical Society.

And pretty much everybody enjoys the Waupun Fine Arts & Craft Fair, featuring the work of more than 50 artisans, held the first Saturday in August at West End Park.
