On the National Registry of Historic Places, Sisson's Peony Gardens dates back to the 1920s. Enjoy a self-guided walking tour however the gardens are open year-round but it's best to visit May through June to experience the fragrance and beauty of the many rows of peonies. The tours are free, but donations are welcome. The step-on upon arrival is always a nice welcome.
