Parsons Creek

Parsons Creek winds through the history of the Fond du Lac area. This spring-fed cold water stream in the Town of Byron was once a destination for trout anglers. However, over time land use impacts made their mark and the trout began to disappear. Now, area residents have the opportunity to bring Parsons Creek back to its former potential. The entire 4.7 miles of Parsons Creek and the three miles of the East Tributary to Parsons Creek are classified as "Cold Water Communities" that should be able to support cold water fish and aquatic life. Portions of Parsons Creek have the potential to be restored to high quality trout waters.
