Check out this 4.3-mile loop of connected trails near Waupun, Wisconsin. Generally considered an easy route with minimal inclines, non-ADA compliant. It takes an average of 1 h 21 min to complete and loops through prairie and forest habitats. This is a popular trail for birding, hiking, and running. The best times to visit this trail are March through November. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash. Open year round is walking spring to fall, snow shoeing and cross-country skiing in winter, but is not open to biking. Access from the midway parking lot of the refuge auto tour off Hwy 49.
