Meet the Artists: Tori Tasch & Dara Larson | A Fragile Leaf: Paper and the Environment

Join us for an evening of conversation and insight with artists Dara Larson and Tori Tasch, whose exhibition A Fragile Leaf: Paper and the Environment explores the powerful connection between plants, paper, and the natural world.

Both artists transform plant materials into handmade paper, experimenting with fibers from local and invasive species to create unique surfaces and sculptural works. Their process blends traditional papermaking with contemporary approaches such as book arts, eco-printing, dyeing, casting, and drawing, inviting viewers to reconsider the materials that surround us every day.

During this artist talk, Larson and Tasch will share an introduction to their work, followed by a Q&A session facilitated by curator Shannon Kupfer. Guests will also have the chance to engage directly with the artists and learn more about their creative process.
