Artist Uncorked : Lauren Michaela

Our June Artist of the Month is Lauren Michaela.

“I have had the passion to create for as long as I can remember. It started when I held my first crayon when I was 2 years old.

When creating I begin to flow. My soul flies to higher levels. Time no longer exists in the 24 hour construct we know. It’s a way to express my emotions. Some people are poets, some are lyricists, I am an artist. My work speaks for me.

Sharing my passions through commission pieces is a way for me to share my love and joy for this work with others. A way to connect our lives. It is an honor for me to breathe life onto your thoughts and ideas. 

Through my work, I want to evoke the beauty in the pain; the power of humanity; the magnificence of nature.
I want to share my passion with my community. Honoring and acknowledging in the spirit each piece embodies.”
