Lakeside Park

Bring the family out for fun at Fond du Lac's 400-acre Lakeside Park, on Lake Winnebago, Wisconsin's largest inland lake.

Walk-up lighthouse, picnic area, shelters, pavilion, playground, zip line, petting zoo, ball diamonds, marina, rides, boat-launch ramps, handicapped-accessible fishing platforms, new boat dock on Oven Island, Lakeside park segment of the Fond du Lac Loop, and kayak and pedal boat rentals. Also includes a fountain, large playground equipment area with an accessible playground, concessions, full-service marina and gazebos. 

Visitors can take nostalgic rides on the miniature train and enjoy the antique carousel. Two separate launches; one with a four-lane concrete ramp, loading piers and parking for 20 rigs and the other launch with two concrete ramps, loading piers and large black and top parking. 

Park glows with thousands of holiday lights and animated displays including holiday music each December.

Salute the Troops will be hosting a 5K Run/Walk along with a kids race. The 5K race is completely inside the boundaries of Lakeside Park. We will have vendors present with food, fun, games, and prizes. Begins at Oven Island in Lakeside Park. 

Opening ceremonies start at 6:45am. Half Marathon 7am. Dobogai Memorial 5K Run/Walk 7:30am. Kids run to follow!

This annual race will feature a half marathon and the Dobogai Memorial 5k run/walk. Early bird registration starts February 3, 2018 and ending on March 31, 2018. Join us for the 50th Annual Art on the Island! Walk through Lakeside Park, along the shores of Lake Winnebago, as you browse the works of over 70 artists from all over the Midwest.

Shop from a variety of fine arts and "original-in-design" crafts including paintings, ceramics, jewelry, garden art and more. Bid high in the Silent Auction Pavilion and admire the works of the High School Scholarship recipients, beneficiaries of silent auction proceeds.

Enjoy live music and children's/youth art area. Concessions will be provided by the Fond du Lac Noon Optimist Club. Join us for our milestone 50th annual fair!
