Lakeside Park

Bring the family out for fun at Fond du Lac's 400-acre Lakeside Park, on Lake Winnebago, Wisconsin's largest inland lake.

Walk-up lighthouse, picnic area, shelters, pavilion, playground, zip line, petting zoo, ball diamonds, marina, rides, boat-launch ramps, handicapped-accessible fishing platforms, new boat dock on Oven Island, Lakeside park segment of the Fond du Lac Loop, and kayak and pedal boat rentals. Also includes a fountain, large playground equipment area with an accessible playground, concessions, full-service marina and gazebos. 

Visitors can take nostalgic rides on the miniature train and enjoy the antique carousel. Two separate launches; one with a four-lane concrete ramp, loading piers and parking for 20 rigs and the other launch with two concrete ramps, loading piers and large black and top parking. 

Park glows with thousands of holiday lights and animated displays including holiday music each December.

Salute the Troops will be hosting a 5K Run/Walk along with a kids race. The 5K race is completely inside the boundaries of Lakeside Park. We will have vendors present with food, fun, games, and prizes. Begins at Oven Island in Lakeside Park. Our mission is to enable veterans to live full and independent lives by providing resources to empower them to overcome the physical and mental wounds of war. Join us the 49th Annual Art on the Island Event. Walk through Lakeside Park, along the shores of Lake Winnebago as you browse the works of 50 artists from all over the Midwest.


There will be a variety of fine arts and original in design crafts including paintings, ceramics, jewelry, garden art and much more to see up close. High School Scholarship recipients will display their works in the Silent Auction Pavilion. Music by Drowsy Maggies, a children art area and concessions by the Fond du Lac Noon Optimist Club are all part of the festivities.

Visit the Art All Around tent to be entered to win an Art All Around Gift Package. Viewer's choice awards will be presented for the Children's Museum Exhibit. Art on the Prairie Workshop and Plein Air pieces will be on display as well.
