A Gilded Age Garden Party
Join Airy Point Farms and Lake Literary Center for an afternoon designed for book lovers, tea drinkers, and anyone who dreams of stepping into the pages of a historical novel.
Enjoy tea and pastries from Wandering Arrow Bakery while surrounded by summer blooms on the farm. Then, step into the world of Edith Wharton and the Gilded Age through a hands-on literary workshop where you’ll create elegant handmade invitations using specialty papers, quill-style pens, dried flowers, and wax seals.
As part of the experience, you’ll be assigned a secret historical identity inspired by real Gilded Age figures. Throughout the afternoon, you’ll mingle, speculate, exchange invitations, and uncover who everyone is in this playful literary social game.
Guests will also have the opportunity to browse and purchase a curated selection of books inspired by the event and will create a beautiful farm-grown bouquet to take home.
Perfect for readers, writers, history lovers, Bridgerton fans, and anyone who appreciates a slow, beautiful afternoon.
