Storytime: The Lion & The Mouse

Join us at Wonder for a playful and interactive storytime featuring The Lion & the Mouse by Jerry Pinkney — a beautifully illustrated retelling of the classic fable about kindness, friendship, and how even the smallest friend can make a big difference.

During storytime, little ones will help tell the story by roaring like lions, squeaking like mice, and joining in on simple movement and animal sounds throughout the read-aloud. This nearly wordless story makes for such a fun and engaging group experience for toddlers and preschoolers alike!

After the story, kids will create their own lion craft using paper plates and colorful manes, then explore our themed sensory bin filled with hidden “mice” and safari-inspired fun.
