Gold Standard (Bluegrass)

Gold Standard is excited to release their first EP with their signature blend of bluegrass, R&B, and pop – making it look easy, sounding smooth, and getting folks on the dance floor. Led by Wisconsin native Kate Stenson’s sultry vocals and hot violin, these three tracks ring out with harmony and break down into playful string adventures featuring Northeast Wisconsin legends, Gregg Daigle and Loren Dempster. Originally from Virginia, Ian Moore writes many of the songs and holds down bass duties. Through layered vocal harmonies, catchy duet riffs, and playful lyrics, Gold Standard takes listeners on an uplifting journey. Ian and Loren have played together previously and recruited Kate and then Gregg to form Gold Standard to play original acoustic music.
