Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony
The 2026 Memorial Day Parade will be hosted by the American Legion Trier-Puddy Post 75.
The parade and ceremony will take place on Monday, May 25, 2026. Parade staging will be held in The Fives parking lot from 8:45 a.m. to 9:55 a.m. The parade will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the corner of Rees and Main Streets, proceed south on Main Street, and conclude at Second Street.
Following the parade, the Memorial Day Ceremony will begin at 11:30 a.m. at Veterans Park.
Organizations wishing to participate in the parade must contact the Fond du Lac County Veterans Service Office at 920-929-3117 or 920-929-3120, or by email at veterans@fdlco.wi.gov. All participating organizations must ensure their entries reflect the meaning and purpose of Memorial Day. For safety reasons, no candy or other items may be thrown during the parade.
The deadline to request participation is Wednesday, May 20, 2026.
Out of respect for those who gave their lives in service to our country, we respectfully request that no political or protest activities be conducted during the parade or ceremony. While we fully support everyones First Amendment rights, we humbly ask that this event not be used as a platform for political expression. Memorial Day is a time set aside to honor and remember the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation, and we appreciate the communitys understanding and support in preserving the dignity of this day.
