Denim Day Decorating
ASTOP invites community members to join us for a Denim Day Creative Action Event at the Idea Studio in the lower level of the Fond du Lac Public Library. This interactive gathering blends education and art, offering participants the chance to learn about the origins and impact of Denim Day and its role in raising awareness about sexual violence and supporting survivors.
Guided by ASTOPs Prevention Educator, Sam, attendees will explore the story behind the movement and reflect on how communities can stand in solidarity. Participants will then create and decorate denim squares as visible messages of support, advocacy, and hope.
The finished pieces will be displayed in the librarys teen space windows throughout April in recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month. This free event is open to all ages, and everyone is encouraged to take part in this powerful community expression of awareness and support.
