Campfire Stories- Magnificent Moths

July 25 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Free
Gather the family and spend some time together around the campfire as we share stories at the Horicon Marsh. Each month, we will have a different topic that we explore through books, crafts, and adventure. We will finish the night with a sweet treat that we get to cook over the fire.

It’s National Moth Week, so let’s celebrate the beauty of the moths that call the Marsh home! We will learn how to tell the difference between moths and butterflies, their lifecycle, and how to spot them all while enjoying the campfire! There will be a short family-friendly hike to our spotlight to see if we can lure in some moths. This month’s sweet treat will be Cinnamon Bun Twists. Please bring a low-power flashlight and bug spray.

No registration is required. The Horicon Marsh Education and Visitor Center is located at N7725 Highway 28, Horicon, WI. Meet at the picnic shelter. For additional information, contact Liz Herzmann at 920-210-9054 or elizabeth.herzmann@wisconsin.gov
