SUMMARY:16th Annual MARTINFest 2026
DESCRIPTION:Come to Marsh Haven Nature Center and join the Wisconsin Purple Martin Association at our 16th annual Purple MARTINFest. At this day-long event\, you will be able to learn about this neo-tropical songbird and how it fits in the ecosystem. This is a free family event held at the Marsh Haven Nature Center that hosts a thriving purple martin colony. Multiple presentations are planned during the day\, including the handling and banding of the adult and baby purple martins. In addition\, there will be many other bird-focused organizations present to help inform festival goers about the needs of all songbirds. Other things to do include: Children’s activities\, Wildlife Exhibits\, and Hiking Trails. Food will be available for purchase\, and a vendor will be on site selling custom purple martin housing. The Wisconsin Purple Martin Association will hold a silent auction with purple martin items\, concluding at 2:30 pm.
