DESCRIPTION:Buy\, sell\, or trade old and modern guns and accessories at the largest gun show in Wisconsin\, with more than 450 6-foot tables. Food and beverages are available. Public invited. Going into hunting season\, there is always something to pick up for yourself or a family member. Don’t forget to include your wife and kids in the hunting scene.  \nThe Central Wisconsin Gun Collectors Association was incorporated on August 8\, 1975. The purpose of this Association is to promote and encourage the continued interest in firearms\, military memorabilia\, and to protect the Second Amendment. We donate to hunter safety programs\, the NRA\, and organizations that benefit firearm ownership. \nWe currently hold three gun shows per year in the months of January\, April\, and October\, with up to 480 tables available. These shows are well attended by over 6000 guests per year\, coming to enjoy the camaraderie of like-minded individuals and the opportunity to stroll the aisles in search of something on their want list. There are over 370 members belonging to our Association.

The haunted attraction takes you through three levels of scares\, beginning on the second floor before descending into the basement of the aging structure. The building itself provides much of the atmosphere\, but the real nightmare is what waits inside: actors\, themed rooms\, sudden scares\, and plenty of twists designed to keep you guessing about what is around the next corner. \nGetting out of the building doesn’t mean you’re safe. The walkthrough continues outdoors into a twisting maze where more creatures and unexpected scares are waiting. At the end\, a bonfire\, concessions\, and photo opportunities give you a chance to regroup after making it through the asylum. This is a unique wild cave system where crawling and exploring are optional and encouraged\, but not required. Learn how caves are formed\, some of the geological history of this area\, and about animals that use the caves. This is a fun\, family-friendly tour; minimum age is 5. We will use stairs and ladders to enter the caves. Flashlights required.\n \nThese are ‘wild’ caves\, and we do not have paved walkways or electricity. Closed-toed shoes\, long pants\, and long sleeves are a must! A sweatshirt\, boots\, a hat\, and gloves are suggested. The caves are frequently muddy in areas. Please bring a flashlight other than your phone. This is a walking tour with optional crawling opportunities. Come ready to explore!\n \n*Note that the nature center is still closed for our building remodel. DESCRIPTION:Take a piece of the Gottfried home with you! \nThe Gottfried Prairie is a hidden gem: a successful 50-acre prairie restoration adjacent to the UWO-Fond du Lac campus. Most of the species originated from the last remaining prairie remnants around Fond du Lac County. This workshop is for landowners who wish to collect prairie wildflower and grass seed for planting on their own property. \nThis is a free event sponsored by the Friends of the Gottfried Prairie & Arboretum and the Wild Ones Fox Valley Area Chapter. \nThe first part of the session involves collecting seed in bags. Following seed collection the seed will be sorted and distributed amongst the participants. Bags will be supplied. Participants should bring a small snips or pruner and sharpie marker if they have one. A limited supply will be available. \nWorkshop leaders: Lisa Mick and Shannon Davis-Foust \nMeet at the Gottfried shelter located near the east parking lot adjacent to the new Fond du Lac County Campus (former UW Oshkosh\, Fond du Lac). \nTHIS WORKSHOP IS CANCELLED IN THE EVENT OF RAIN OR RECENT RAIN. SUMMARY:Central Wisconsin Gun Collectors Show
DESCRIPTION:Buy\, sell\, or trade old and modern guns and accessories at the largest gun show in Wisconsin\, with more than 450 6-foot tables. Food and beverages are available. Public invited. Going into hunting season\, there is always something to pick up for yourself or a family member. Don’t forget to include your wife and kids in the hunting scene.  \nThe Central Wisconsin Gun Collectors Association was incorporated on August 8\, 1975. The purpose of this Association is to promote and encourage the continued interest in firearms\, military memorabilia\, and to protect the Second Amendment. We donate to hunter safety programs\, the NRA\, and organizations that benefit firearm ownership. \nWe currently hold three gun shows per year in the months of January\, April\, and October\, with up to 480 tables available. These shows are well attended by over 6000 guests per year\, coming to enjoy the camaraderie of like-minded individuals and the opportunity to stroll the aisles in search of something on their want list. There are over 370 members belonging to our Association.
