Roosevelt Park

A three acre park on the southeast shore of Lake Winnebago. The long, narrow park offers about 900 feet of Lake Winnebago shoreline. Popular spot during the summer months for swimming and boaters often anchor offshore and wade to the park for picnics. Windsurfing has become a popular activity off the park because of its locations on the windward shore.

The Wind Power Championship is one of the biggest regattas with attendance from all over the Midwest. It's on the US Windsurfing National Tour. Wind conditions are usually very good, yet the water is warm with Fall approaching. Wind Power caters to the beginner racers; making them feel welcome and comfortable is most important! The famous "M" course (5 jibes) is standard and there will be many challenging courses for the A-Fleet to enjoy. Slalom Races will be held, wind permitting. Saturday night after beverages and dinner at the Sunset Grill & Bar, the Bonfire Ritual of burning a boat will take place. Charter Equipment will be available for all Fleets.
