Kettle Moraine State Forest - Long Lake Recreation Area

Explore and enjoy almost 30,000 acres of rolling hills, lakes, forests and grasslands that were given to us a mere 15,000 years ago. The Kettle Moraine is internationally known for its spectacular glacial features and fascinating diversity of plants and animals. Throughout the year, the forest naturalists present a wide array of fun-filled educational programs.

Long Lake is a 4423-acre lake located in Sheboygan County. It has a maximum depth of 47 feet. Visitors have access to the lake from a public boat landing, public beaches. Fish include Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike and Walleye. The lake's water is moderately clear.

Consists of two swimming beaches with a picnic area adjacent to each. Long Lake is home to Summit Trail and Dundee Mountain, which have become popular spots over the years. The area is also a great location for camping, boating, hiking and ice fishing.
