Ledge View Nature Center

Today, visitors come from as far away as central Wisconsin and Illinois to see the only publicly accessible natural caves in this part of the state. Ledge View provides school districts throughout eastern Wisconsin with quality outdoor ed programming and offers activities for families and individuals year-round. Ledgeview is best known for its cave system. Guided tours available spring to fall. They also have bat and lake sturgeon exhibits. Hit the trails for exploring, hiking, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Climb the 60-foot observation tower for a panoramic view from atop the Niagara Escarpment. Various programs and guided adventures available year round.

Celebrate the maple syrup season by tapping a maple tree, collecting sap, learning the history of how it becomes syrup, and enjoying the taste of pure maple syrup on pancakes. Demos and tapping tours free; optional pancake breakfast 9 am-1 pm fee charged. Breakfast is a fundraiser for the nonprofit Friends of Ledge View Nature Center. The event goes on rain or shine.
