Henry S. Reuss Ice Age Visitor Center

Nestled in the Kettle Moraine sits the Henry S. Reuss Ice Age Visitor Center. Learn about all the wonders of the Northern Unit, from the wide array of recreational opportunities to the world-famous glacial features and the Ice Age National Scenic Trail. 

Wander through the center's exhibits and take in the spectacular view of the local glacial landforms from the observation deck. A great place to start your visit to the Kettle Moraine State Forest (Northern Unit) as it will help educate you about the forest and give you information about more opportunities in the forest.

Bring your bug spray and sense of adventure as we explore the darkness for nocturnal insects. This night hike is best for families/groups with children at least 5 years old. Location: Zillmer Trail Area (located off County Road SS between County Road G and Hwy 67 near New Prospect)

With Jackie Scharfenberg, Forest Naturalist, find out from a forest naturalist what plants are safe to eat and let your tastebuds decide which are "good" to eat. This program is most appropriate for people over the age of 8 years old. Summer Saturday Evening Event Kettle Moraine at the Ice Age Visitor Center (located off Hwy 67 half mile west of Dundee).
